Yakimovich advances supports individuals throughout their aging journey by offering free public sessions year-round to help you better navigate your health and aging journey. Workshops cover a variety of topics that will increase your knowledge, skills and access to resources in your community and within the health care system.

Booking the Centre
Yakimovich is supported by the Eldercare Foundation, a registered charity. All resources and education sessions are organized based on the Eldercare Foundation’s four pillars of Embrace Aging to make it easier for you to find what you need:
- It is free of charge for Island Health and Community Groups to use the Yakimovich Wellness Centre
- Yakimovich can be booked for health related support groups, self-management programs, and health education (no meetings or business-related presentations)
- Centre amenities include space for up to 60 people with tables and chars, microphone audio system, laptop, projector with drop-down screen and flip chart with stand
