Provides financial assistance to CF patients wanting to engage in recreational activities.
The Cystic Fibrosis Exercise Grants are financial grants designed to help individuals with cystic fibrosis (CF) build and maintain a lifelong habit of physical activity. They provide funding for a wide range of fitness-related expenses such as gym memberships, yoga, dance or swim lessons, sports team fees, exercise equipment, and other activities that promote regular physical fitness.
Applicants must submit a medical provider form confirming CF diagnosis. Exercise Grant requests may not exceed $750 USD (equivalent Canadian amount is subject to variation based on exchange rates at the time of award approval). Due to limited funding we may not be able to approve the full amount requested.
BreatheStrong CF does NOT reimburse expenses already paid. They pay companies and providers of the activity or service directly. New applications can be submitted
